What's Up!
My name is Ashtian Holmes. Some people call me "Holmz." Some people call me "Smash Holmzini." I develop and design websites, and perform various creative digital services that will make your business/organization/project a lot more interesting.
About Ash
I have been doing "all things digital" since 2006. I first discovered my passion for web and graphic design while working as an independent hip-hop music producer in Brooklyn, NY. I was involved in several low-budget projects, and opted to "save money" by designing all of my artist's album covers and Myspace (lol) pages. I picked up a "donated" copy of photoshop and got to work. I will admit that my first few designs were terrible, but I quickly progressed. After awhile people started to notice my designs and hire me to do their artwork.
Over time I slowly became more attracted to web programming. I learned HTML and CSS, and started designing web pages from scratch. I later became obsessed with PHP and Wordpress, and also began to develop E-commerce sites. I started out building sites for family and friends, but eventually my skills progressed to where I could actually make a business out of my web knowledge. I started offering my services to the public in 2008, and since then not a day has gone by that I haven't been busy creating digital dopeness for personal and business brands. I also write funny yet inspirational articles at Smackedsilly - The Home of Intelligent Ignorance!

I have done work for artists, bars, churches, accounting firms, and even huge institutions like the City University of New York (CUNY), where I also work part-time as a project coordinator for the Urban Male Leadership Academy at the Borough of Manhattan Community College.
